The following collages collects my abstract interpretation of the site, my impression of Red Hook and my program.

SITE

"Red Hook, Brooklyn"

Red Hook is a collection of industrial development. Red Hook is a puzzle of styles, development and progress shown through the art, material used and general environment. The progress of the neighborhood is definitely sense its streets.

IMPRESSION

"Potential"

When I walk in Red Hook the first time, I felt the neighborhood was kind of abandoned. Nevertheless, there was something that captivated me of the surroundings. After walking around the different areas of Red Hook, I realized that the site has a powerful raw potential that needs to be developed. 

Great views, wide shore, hidden/isolated feeling, artistic movement, antique and new approaches in business and architecture and occasional nature splash makes of the site powerful and unique; however, the site's potential hasn't been development to the fullest of its capability.

PROGRAM
"Art Performances"

Art is a blend of color, sound and movement. It could be express through drawings, paints, sculpture, words, music or dances. The goal of artistic expression is to represent the freedom and variety of people's reaction to the reality and personal experiences.
