THe plan diagram with a bar and an oval performance hall and circulation in between can work nicely. The bar can relate quite directly to the established context on the north and east; the performance hall can relate to the water. Clarifying the section will help at this point. Feel free to insert the form of an existing hall - even tracing the shape overlaid on your diagrams to understand the size, shape and constraints.
